Folk Arts Rare Records is a San Diego music institution and one of the oldest record stores in California. I worked closely with owner Brendan Boyle to develop an aesthetic for his branding that reflected the timeless aesthetic of classic album covers, and from there designed and developed a website that he would be able to manage and update. I wanted to capitalize on the great-looking visual assets that he regularly posts to Instagram, and we came up with a way to integrate his photo feed in a prominent place on his home page, which also allows him to keep customers apprised of new arrivals.
