Big Nate’s BBQ was a restaurant in San Francisco that had been around for 20 years, founded by NBA hall-of-famer Nate Thurmond. It was bought by a pair of young restauranteurs, and I was hired to help them rebrand the business. I created this logo, based on the type treatment from an old basketball trading card series. Over the next two years I also designed and developed their website, and did various design projects, including email marketing, postcards, posters, and menus.
