Cassie’s was an upscale pizza place in the town of Englewood, NJ. This was my first paid mural commission. Two of my high school buddies were waiters there, and the management was asking around if anyone knew a painter to paint a mural. My friends passed the word on to me, and I got in touch. They offered me $500 plus materials, plus food and drink. Looking back, $500 for a two week, 50 by 15 foot mural job is pretty darn low. But I did my best to make up for it in pizza consumption, and all told, this job was a blast.
